Richie, pointing at me and telling me to make him look good! I had to tell him that the camera didn't lie and he laughed.

Richie and I served in the 506/101st Airborne, and i can say with confidence that he was the personification of a Paratrooper. Fearless, loyal, a great and generous friend.I enjoyed seeing him every time we met and I will miss our telephone comversations. My sincerest condolences to his family and many friends on this profound loss.

I only knew Rich for a short time but appreciated his sense of humor and easy going manner.
May God give you all comfort in your time of grief knowing he is in a better place.
I extend my sincere condolences to each of you.

Here are somethings I really admired about you Dad & I miss our talks in the morning !
You were always thankful for the life you had been given even though the last few years were so very difficult.
When you bowed your head at dinner and thanked God for a good day and His help.
When Mom got sick, you stayed by her side .
You were Mom's anchor in her greatest storm....I learned that your stubbornness at times, was really just your great love and faithfulness doing what you believed was best. I seen you cry, not because of physical pain...but because of great heartache.... You admitted some real regrets and realizing you couldn't go back and fix them, you bowed your head once again and prayed and then trusted God for His help and gift of grace........I miss you now, but I will see you again ! ; )
" Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Fathers house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. " I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself: that where I am, There you may be also." John 14:1-3

My deepest and sincerest condolences to Richie's ( Greek) family on their loss. Richie was a friend of mine, very giving, generous and loyal. We served in the 101st Airborne Division together and he was very proud to have been a Paratrooper. I will miss him but will always cherish the times I enjoyed with him. May he now rest in peace. Blue Skies and Soft Landings my Brother.
