You guys are all in my prayers! BEST memory ever of Patrick was at the cabin in ME and Pat and Brandon were messing around when we were all supposed to be sleeping. Well Pat decided to wrestle with Brandon on TOP of the not so sturdy army cot and they both fell through and broke it! Everyone woke up to the two of them laughing hysterically because Brandon was stuck. Needless to say Courtney and Art were NOT happy with us all being awake but it was one of the top funniest memories I ever took out of the summers with you all! Miss you guys! Lots of love! Rest in peace cousin!

I was deeply saddened to learn of Pat's early passing, and send my condolences to the entire Hansen family. I knew Pat going back to the elementary school and midget football days and have many fond memories of him over the years. He was always a wonderful person to be around, and I can truly say I've never seen him treat anyone with anything other than respect and kindness. He will certainly be missed by many.

It is with deep regret to offer sympathy for Patrick. It is always difficult to lose someone you love at such an early age. If there is anything we can do for this sorrowful loss, please let us know. I am now lighting three candles for the family, friends and partner of Patrick – he is already at peace. But in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost, may you all accept peace with this too. Keep the faith – sometimes that is all we have except each other. With hugs and prayers, Maggie and Frank

We were deeply saddened when we heard about Pat's passing. Our memories of him go way back to youth football when Pat and our son, Andrew, took such joy in playing together. Pat's positive nature and friendliness were evident then, just as they were when we would run into him every so often in town. He had a genuine kindness and a smile that could light up a room. We were glad to have known him, and we send our heartfelt condolences to the Hansen family.

A Dirge
Rough wind, that moanest loud
Grief too sad for song;
Wild wind, when sullen cloud
Knells all the night long;
Sad storm, whose tears are vain.
Bare woods, whose branches strain,
Deep caves and dreary main,
Wail, for the worlds wrong!

Pat got me my first job - working the month of August in the tobacco fields of South Glastonbury. Funny when I think about it now, but it was hard work. Toughest of all was hurrying to get ready for football practice while still being covered in tobacco gum from the fields... We'd go home exhausted and then be at the fields by 6am the next day.

I cannot express my sorrow at this time..I am so sorry for your loss..Pat was like a brother to me..Although I have lived in Colorado for almost 10 years, the few times I saw Pat in the past, it was like nothing had ever changed...our old jokes were still funny, he was still calling Cat "Cheeks" and always having fun and making people smile..I spoke to Pat about a month ago and we talked about getting together in the next few months..Although that is not an option anymore, I know that Pat is with me in spirit. He was an amazing friend, brother, and son...I will miss him dearly and think of him often..I hope Nora, Cat, Lauren, and Hal find some solice in knowing how much of an impact Pat had on our lives.

Dear Nora, Lauren and Kat, Please know that you all are in our hearts and our thoughts are with you during this devastating time. Nora, I loved the stories you'd share with me about Patrick - such a loving, sweet little lamb - and so darn funny. Gunnar, Hayden and Anna will cherish all the fun times they had with Patrick and your family on Hebron Ave. My kids consider themselves so fortunate to have Patrick there for them during their formative years. Who can forget "Hayden did it"? That saying has proved to be timeless. The world has lost a truly beautiful spirit - Heaven is blessed to have Patrick now.
