Obituary of Christine B. Marineau
Christine Tambling Marineau, daughter of Philip and Kathleen Tambling of Glastonbury, and wife of Jeff Marineau of Manchester, passed away at her parents’ home surrounded by her loving family. Besides her parents and husband, survivors include her daughter Kayla Marineau of Glastonbury, son Jordyn Marineau of Manchester, and daughter Nichole Oliver also of Manchester, her brother Philip Tambling and his wife Jaye and their children Paige and Jaret, all of Windsor, CT, uncle John W. Clark and wife Kathleen of Stratford and their daughters Jessica, Kirsten, Lauren, and Aubrey, an aunt, Mary Novak of Stratford and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She also leaves behind her father-in-law, Gary Marineau Sr. and his wife Larain of Coventry, CT, as well as brother-in-law Gary Marineau Jr., his wife Lisa Marineau, and their family of Old Saybrook, CT, brother-in-law Tim Marineau and his wife Stacy Marineau and family of Dayville, CT. Born January 11th, 1968, in New Britain, CT, Chrissy was always a kind and gentle soul, with a wonderful sense of humor, a terrific mother and wife, a loving daughter, and a friend to many who will be missed by those who knew her and loved her. Her family will receive friends on Thursday, March 16th, 2017, from 4pm-7pm at the Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury, CT. A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 17th, 2017 at 2pm at First Church of Christ Congregational, 2183 Main Street, Glastonbury. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Chrissy’s name may be made to Protectors of Animals, 144 Main St., East Hartford, CT 06118, or to Smilow Cancer Hospital at Yale New Haven, for esophageal cancer research, 20 York Street, New Haven, CT 06510.
