Obituary of Fay H. Crandall

Fay Kathleen Hoadley Crandall, 88, of Wethersfield, CT passed away March 19, 2017. Born in Bristol, CT, she is predeceased by an older brother Bill and younger sister Sally and is survived by her children: Lynn Kathleen Crandall Adams of San Francisco, CA; Deborah Fuger & husband Stanley of Andover, CT; Gary Crandall & wife Diane of Carrollton, TX; Lori Crandall Macri & husband Rocco of Andover, CT; Jeane Bonenfant & husband James of Farmington, CT and grandchildren: Kristen Fuger, David Fuger, Steven Crandall, Matthew Crandall, and Christopher Bonenfant; and great grandchildren Devyn; Shya and Declan. She was a loving, caring mother – very proud of her children and their accomplishments. A talented homemaker, she enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing and crocheting. Fay enjoyed sitting in her yard amongst all her favorite flowers and watching the birds. She was an avid reader who also loved watching wrestling, old movies and listening to music. Fay worked for many years in the Wethersfield school system, surrounded by the children she so enjoyed. She was a loyal employee at Hartford Hospital and retired after 27 years of service at the information desk. The family extends their sincere gratitude to Clara, for her dedicated loving care.
