Obituary of Lucy M. DiGiovanni

Lucy M. (Klimas) DiGiovanni, 93, of Glastonbury, died peacefully at home on Saturday, April 8, 2017. She was predeceased by her husband John J. DiGiovanni and her daughter Janice Pascucci. Lucy was born in Suffield, CT. on December 15, 1923. She grew up in Hartford and graduated from Hartford Public High School. She was a resident of Glastonbury since 1947 and it is where she raised her children. She is survived by her daughters Elaine Farrell and her husband Joseph, Linda Bristol and her husband Warren, her son David DiGiovanni and his companion Jennifer Couture, and son-in-law Frank Pasucci. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, Keith W. Bristol, Shannon Milton, Craig DiGiovanni and Katie DiGiovanni and 4 great grandchildren, Emma, Leah, Demarco and Noah. Lucy retired from East Hartford Board of Education after working as a cafeteria manager for many years. She was active in the Glastonbury AARP as well as the Glastonbury Senior Center where she played Friday bingo for many years. She was an avid reader, loved playing cards with friends and family and was a loyal Red Sox fan. Lucy most of all enjoyed spending time with her family especially on holidays. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 12 at 10 am in St. Paul Church, 2577 Main St., Glastonbury. Burial will follow in Neipsic Cemetery, Glastonbury.
