Obituary of Dennis T. O'Brien
Dennis T. O'Brien, 77, of Glastonbury, beloved father, grandfather, uncle and friend passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at his home. Born on October 15, 1940, in Washington, D.C. to the late Neil and Dorothy O'Brien, he is survived by his daughter Erin Turner, her husband Jarod and their children, Desiree, Antoinette and Jordyn along with his other daughter Kerry Snyder, her husband Tim and their children Kevin and Sarah, his great-grandchildren, James and Ainsley, and the mother of his children, Carolyn O'Brien. He was predeceased by his brother, James O'Brien. His professional career at IBM was devoted to developing software programs to assist those with special needs and he had the opportunity to present medals at the Paralympic Games. He was selflessly devoted to his mother, children and grandchildren and will be dearly missed. The family expectantly awaits for the day they will be reunited alongside their heavenly Father. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 10:30am at St. Paul Church, Glastonbury. Calling hours are Saturday, January 13 from 9:00am to 10:00am at Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave, Glastonbury. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Glastonbury.
