My deepest sympathy to Charlotte, Vanessa, Todd and Jason on the passing of Dino. I sat near Dino at Whaler games many years ago, talked about Fairfield U, and always interested in his children and grandchildren. It has been such an honor to know this wonderful man. You are all in my prayers. Steven Hinchey

It's amazing as time goes by and we lose touch with people. I was passing by your house and saw Jason recently. He mentioned that Mr. Genga was not well. I was saddened to see his obituary in the paper. When we were teenagers, I remeber Vanessa sitting on the front step (I had a crush on her and jumped into the algae filled creek to get her attention, which did not work. In retrospect I should have gotten her a watch to possibly have her give me the time of day :)). I remember Vanessa and Todd arguing often when we were young. Vanessa loved the musical group Journey and had their posters in the house. Todd built motorcycle trails in the back of the house and he would let me ride on the back of his bike with him. Jason used to work on my car engine at the age of 15 in my parents driveway - he was a prodigy with car engines. I have great pictures of the kids in my photo album of when we were all younger. If any of the kids would like to contact me, please call me on my landline at 860-633-4850 (with an answering machine if I am not home). I live at the soap factory, one street over from the high school (been there for 32 years). I have been in Glastonbury for 56 years.
