Obituary of Dino T. Genga

Dino T. Genga, age 88, of Glastonbury, beloved husband for 63 years of Charlotte (Orlando) Genga, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 27, 2023.

Born in Springfield, MA to Enrico and Lillian (Magi) Genga on January 21, 1935 Dino was a graduate of Fairfield University and served his country honorably in the U.S. Army.  He worked as a mechanical engineer for 34 years at Pratt and Whitney Aircraft in East Hartford.  He was a longtime member of St. Augustine Church in South Glastonbury.

He is fondly remembered by his family and friends as a loyal and loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather, and uncle.  He was an avid golfer and a fan of UConn sports teams.

Dino is survived by his daughter Vanessa Genga of South Windsor, CT his son Todd Genga of Springvale, ME and son Jason Genga and his wife Sherry of Marlborough, CT and four grandchildren, his great granddaughter, his brother Henry Genga and his wife Elaine of East Hartford.
