I had been told that Fran was psychic and while I am somewhat skeptical about this, I do have a good friend who also demonstrates the kind of intuition that Fran had. So when I was in Florida soon after Dad died last year, I stopped by Fran's house and she showed me how the pots had jumped off the counter in a way that signaled to her that Dad had made his presence known. This did not make much of an impression on me but then I looked in Fran's face. It had that same amused, puckish expession that my good friend has when she is spot on about something. It was very startling and also very Fran. And while I am very sorry that Fran had to fall and break her arm, I am also somewhat grateful for this. It provided me an opportunity to get to know Fran better and really talk to her. I truly enjoyed this opportunuity and now have a permanent affection for Fran that I would have missed. As well as three beautiful paintings that she gave to my girls that I treasure. I am sure that Fran's family knows what a wonderful wife and mother she was but I want them to know that even incidental acquaintances regard her highly and miss her too. Love to you all. Anne
