Obituary of Frances Fazzino
Frances B. Fazzino (Bogdanski), 79, of North Port, Florida, devoted wife of Joseph P. Fazzino for 56 years, died peacefully on June 8, 2011. Born in Thompsonville, Connecticut, April 24, 1932, daughter of the late William Bogdanski and Helen (Maciolek) Bogdanski, she resided in Suffield, Hartford and Avon, CT before residing in North Port, FL for 27 years. Frances was a devoted wife, mother, friend, caretaker, and accomplished business owner. Her passions were love of animals, especially kittens, painting, gardening and traveling. She was a talented, award winning and self-taught artist. For many years she was an active member of the Farmington Valley and North Port Art Guilds, as well as the Suffield High School Alumni Class of 1950. She leaves four children, Dolores Fazzino, DNP of Encinitas, CA, Albert Fazzino of Avon and his fiancée Lori Mitchell, Linda DiCaprio and her husband James of East Hampton, Donna Donlon of Troy, NY and former sons-in-law Tim Donlon, Gaylord Brown, and daughter-in-law Janice Appell. Frances also leaves 4 grandchildren: Amanda (Fazzino) Brogmus and her husband Eric, Matthew Brown, Joseph (Joey) Fazzino, and Melanie Donlon. Brother, Henry Bogdanski and his wife Nona and brother-in-law, Richard Fedo, predeceased Frances. She leaves her two sisters: Anna Javorski and her husband Robert, and Gladys Fedo, as well as numerous brothers/sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces and friends. The funeral will be Friday, (June 24, 2011), 9:00 a.m. from the Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Avenue, Glastonbury followed by a Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m. in St. Dunstan Church, 1345 Manchester Road Glastonbury. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Park, Rocky Hill. Friends may call at the Mulryan Funeral Home, Thursday, (June 23) 4-7 p.m. The family would like to thank the staff of Englewood Community Hospital & Doctor's Hospital of Sarasota for their compassionate care provided to Frances in her final days.
